First teeth tend to erupt in a predictable order, starting with the smaller teeth, generally the two incisors (slim cutting teeth) in the lower jaw. These are followed by the two corresponding incisors in the upper jaw. Your baby's teeth will continue to appear at intervals, generally about every four months, until complete (usually by 2 1/2 years).
